This was decided on at the Captains' Meeting of Nationals 2013. The purpose of collecting dues is to financially support the application and incorporation of non-profit status for the NCDA.

League Membership Fee
Minimum $100 per year.
Member Teams are advised to contribute more if team budgets allow. Invoices may be granted upon written request to the League email [ncdadodgeball@gmail.com]. The oldest Member Teams are advised to give more than the minimum.
Membership is granted for the season in which the fee was received. For example, if the fee was collected December 2013, said Member Team is granted membership for the 2014 Season (June 2013 - April 2014)
Deadline
The fee must be received between May 31 and December 31 to be considered on time.
A late submission may be made up to one month after December 31 (January 31), but a Late Charge will be applied. The Late Charge is defined as one-fourth of the minimum fee. With the current minimum fee, $125 would be required as the Membership Fee.
Any submissions received after the January 31 late submission deadline will be returned to Sender, and membership will be denied to the Sender, for that season. However, special arrangements may be brokered for membership submissions in extreme circumstances, if deemed necessary by the League President. Special arrangements are not guaranteed and teams are advised to submit their dues on time.

Waived Fees:
New Member Teams are exempt from the Membership Fee for a specific period:
Once two Nationals Events are held, from the date of their induction match to the submission deadline (December 31), new Member Teams begin submission of the yearly membership fee. (A little messy because I couldn't get the grammar right)
