I'm going to see if a few EMU guys would like to play in the hat tournament at the end of the month. I think it would be a ton of fun!

Moody Bible Institute joined DePaul Dodgeball at the Ol' Ray Meyer tonight. Dodgeball ensued. DePaul eventually pulled out a close win with a 4-2 finish.
In the inaugural Chicago Crusades, Moody brought their A game. When looked at in comparison to their past performance in the CDO, Moody vastly improved their cooperative play. At the CDO they generally threw in singles and threw mostly at the center of mass. Their play tonight included classic group play: team volleys & blocking walls. With a bunch of strong arms, it's my opinion that they will perform deceptively well at Nationals.
DePaul pulled out two early points with strong throws, essential catches, and key ball management. Moody retaliated by stepping up their group play, forcing a close match. Afterwards, we switched up teams and played a game of DePaul rules. The match was great to play in, and probably even more fun to watch. Two teams brought intense dodgeball play today. That just proves that when two of the best attitudes in the League come and play, it's going to be a great. No matter the Official outcome.
Moody brought some great fans. It feels great to have a crowd that supports play and avoids jeers. DePaul wishes two things: Those fans were coming to Nationals, and that we had a more significant home crowd. Then again, sport spectating at DePaul tends to suck.
In the Chicago Crusades, DePaul Dodgeball remains Undefeated. (Don't pay attention that this is just the first match.)
