Any chance we can get an extra game in after the pool play? DePaul only comes into town so often.

Uh giant game is a possibility, so long as it's only like a half or something and if we get no OT games or something. It just depends on how fast we get done with the actual matches.
I'll have all the details on the tournament tomorrow sometime, I'm meeting with our club director one more time to figure out an athletic trainer situation and after that then I'll let you guys know everything.

Ok here is the schedule:
11:00-12:00- Teams arrive, brief captain's meeting
COURT A (main floor gym aka Sports Arena)
12:00- MSU vs OSU 1:15- MSU vs Kent State 2:30-Kent State vs OSU
COURT B (upstairs gym aka Gym #3)
12:00- Eastern Michigan vs Depaul 1:15- Eastern Michigan vs Bowling Green 2:30- Depaul vs Bowling Green
5th place game: Court B at 3:45 3rd place game: Court A at 3:45 Championship: Court A at 5:00
IF A TEAM DROPS (which I'm not expecting, just a possibility)
We'll move to a round robin. I'm pretty sure we'll have more than enough time to get it going.
We have the court reserved until 8 if you guys want to get a giant game going. We do have to have some time for clean up though, otherwise we're going to have to pay a huge custodial fee. So please don't make messes haha.
Also, we're not getting referees, so when you're not playing you will be reffing the match going on in the other pool. So for example, when MSU and OSU play, and EMU and Depaul play, BGSU will ref for MSU/OSU and Kent State will ref for EMU/Depaul.
We are playing at IM West on MSU's campus.

It's right next to the football stadium. If you google maps the Stadium you'll see it right there.
I haven't heard back about athletic trainers, so I can't give you the cost yet. I'm really sorry about that. But I'll let you know very soon, as soon as I hear back from our club director.
Lemme know if anyone has any questions or anything.

Kent State will ref for EMU/Depaul. I hope Kent State is ready for that blood bath.

I thought the DePaul vs EMU game was prison rules.

Also one thing I forgot to mention, if everyone could bring their dodgeballs that'd be awesome, we're running really low and only have enough for one court.

Ok guys, we're not having an athletic trainer so the cost is $75 a team. Hopefully that's okay with everyone.

Okay, since BGSU has unfortunately dropped, we'll now be running a round robin. This means every team will get 4 games instead of 3. When you're not playing, you will need to provide referees for both matches going on.
11:30 am- Teams arrive, brief captain's meeting noon- MSU vs OSU (Sports Arena, main floor gym), EMU vs Kent State (Gym #3, upstairs gym), Depaul refs 1:15- MSU vs Kent State (Sports Arena), OSU vs Depaul (Gym #3), EMU refs 2:30- MSU vs Depaul (Sports Arena), OSU vs EMU (Gym #3), Kent State refs 3:45- OSU vs Kent State (Sports Arena), EMU vs Depaul (Gym #3), MSU refs 5:00- MSU vs EMU (Sports Arena), Kent State vs Depaul (Gym #3), OSU refs 6:15- possible giant game if teams are interested (Sports Arena)

Nice last minute adjustments Hiller. Looks like MSU will get to watch some good matches, clearly the Game for the Mustache Ball will be an instant classic, but there as also been a ton of (off the forum) build up / gentlemen's smack talk for the OSU vs Kent game. I can't wait
Also will there be anyone video taping the matches for any teams?

We won't have anybody taping the matches, unfortunately. I don't know if anyone else will though.
