It was a really good game in my opinion. UK has COMPLETELY turned around from last year, they have done some great recruiting and to be honest they have one of the best arms and one of the best hands in the league. #1 for them had a Michigan-grade arm with the accuracy to match, and #24 looks like he just was born with the ability to catch anything that flies his way. WKU also didn't come to play as much as UK did, we were missing 8 great players from last year, and had to throw four new guys into the match with only two practices under their belts. We did some good things, and some bad things, but as we did at the national tournament last year, we slowed our game down too much and didn't catch as much as we should have. Once we get in a more confident groove with our missing players, we'll be back with vengeance! It was a close game though 2-1, ending half time tied, and only having 6:15 to play the last point really ruined it for us. But we'll be playing UK at our place sometime near the end of the semester and I'm really excited about it because I'm out for some wildcat blood now! haha We had three different video cameras rolling during the game, so footage should be up on youtube by the end of the week or early part of next week.

Michigan grade arm eh? I will be looking forward to seeing that. I am surprised the score was so low I was expecting WKU to run it up on them to be honest. Congrats to UK for stepping up big this year.

Oh, I remember the good ol' days when instead of "Michigan grade arm" it was the "GVSU grade arm." Granted we still got it, but it's definitely become the "Michigan grade arm". We showed everyone what's up and sooner or later we'll pay for it lol.

Yeah, I can't wait to see this arm they speak of. See if they can keep up with the Michigan Teams. And as for the amazing hands... I think the Michigan arms have pretty much shut down an hands.

Can't wait to see if this is for real. I mean good job UK for pulling off the win, but if we have some 65+ mph guy down there, then hopefully he is surrounded with a couple more guys with cannons as well. One guy isnt going to make the team, but surrounded by a few more wont hurt lol. Again good job UK for pulling off the "upset" and look forward to seeing you guys soon.

they have one of the best arms and one of the best hands in the league. #1 for them had a Michigan-grade arm with the accuracy to match his arm is incredible... i'm still amazed everytime i seen him throw it... must have been all that baseball he played in high school... and his accuracy gets better every time we play #24 looks like he just was born with the ability to catch anything that flies his way. in all honesty, i think he came out of the womb with a glove in his hands: ready to catch any and everything

Personally seen and played with #1 from UK. Don't personally like to blow up another player unless he deserves it but I must say.... this kid is the real deal. Big frame, stout build, and an absolute canon. Has got plenty of different types of throws too. I keep hearing on how good of a player he has been for UK but until the WKU game, I belive it now. Takes hands out of the game for their opponets.
