WIU has been very impressive as a second year team in the NCDA, but can they remain undefeated after the MSU Invitational?
P.S. Sorry for all the trouble posting this poll.

I play for wiu and for us to stay undefeated will be a very hard. Two of our captains wont be there and one of our best is dealing with arm problems but we will give msu a better match this year then we did last year.

It will be a great tournament and I expect big things out of WIU. They were by far the best first year team I had ever seen when we played them at Nationals last year. If they play their cards right they'll be competing for a title very soon.
Tourney will be six teams split into 2 pools. Each team will get 3 games.
Each team will play round robin with the other 2 teams in their pool and then they'll play against the team from the other pool that matches their record. --- the 2-0 teams will play in the championship, the 1-1 teams will play for 3rd, and the 0-2 teams will play for 5th.
As of yesterday I had pool A with WKU, MSU, and DePaul. Pool B had WIU, BGSU, and UK.

Sounds like a good format, looking forward to an opportunity to get revenge on the two teams that beat us at nationals last year.
And of course we can't wait to check out what Sparty's campus has to offer

I still have yet to see WIU play, but I am very impressed from what I hear out of the mouths of other great teams. I believe the WIU vs. UK game will be a close one. And if WIU does come out 2-0 I think their downfall will come at the hands of MSU. Either way though I see them winning 2 games in this tournment.

Like some of my guys said it will be tough to go undefeated since we are going to miss some arms but at full strength we are excited of what we are capable of....hopefully we can get everyone on board for this tourney

PCwolf88-Sadly it won't be in EL as I've been telling the captains of the attending teams for over a month now. The tournament will be in Dimondale, MI, which is just a short drive south of East Lansing. It's at AIM High, which is very similar to the setup BGSU has. www.aimhighsports.com/We were unable to get the court space at MSU because there were a bunch of other events going on (first time this has ever happened to me). McCarthy- I hope you're right. We played WIU at Nationals in April and won either 4-0 or 5-0. Although they didn't grip throw almost at all. So if they've improved they'll certainly be a team to look out for. We'll also be down a few guys and we're bringing at least 4 (hopefully 5) first year players to this tournament so they can see what real games are like and play in them. We always come out rusty too, so if WIU is on a roll and hits us hard quickly you never know how it could go. I'm optimistic about what my team is capable of, but they need to show it. We don't play to our potential and too many of my guys play selfishly.

Oh and I'll have an electronic file to send to each team captain including a map of the area with local restaurants and stuff so you guys can navigate your way around.
I'm hoping to have this file in my possession and ready to email out by Friday night.

I wonder if there is any good bars or food in tht area I duno about Dimondale, but if you guys end up in EL for the night there's a bunch of good bars (one of which I work the door/ bounce at) and tons of great places to eat. I really wish we could've held the tournament in East Lansing, although everyone might've been too hung over on Saturday morning to actually play dodgeball lol

This is Seth Rabin, #35 for WIU. It's not easy to stay undefeated, but it sure is fun.
