This is an excerpt from a NCDA Constitution that is being put together. Its purpose is to establish a common base of how the NCDA could operate in various mediums. The forum is one of the easiest places to store this running tally. It also gives members the ability to submit input on to what the NCDA is and where it's going, so feel the freedom to comment.

Director of Nationals
Description
Director responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of the annual end-of-season event “Nationals”. Requires assembling and working in a team, including a non-voting Assistant Director of Nationals, to ensure Nationals Event is the prime standard for all other organizational events.

One year, directly related to the same date of Nationals. Bids for the location and host of the next year’s event will be accepted no longer than thirty days prior to the date of current year’s Nationals. Member Teams that make a bid to host must include the proposed Director of Nationals, as well as the Assistant Director of Nationals.

one vote on the Executive Board
Notes:
Term for this year is June 1st 2014-June 31 2015, voting terms tends to act from June 1st 2014 to June 1st 2015, but for the whole month of June, the executive board turnover involves working with the upcoming board for the entire month of June.
We'll need to define this in a specific turnover clause.

Director of Nationals
Description

Tasks
- Maintain regular communication to keep the League up to date with necessary and related issues, which may include website articles, email or phone correspondence.
- Maintain the League’s Image, Integrity, and Spirit in planning the event.
- Reserve adequate court space for event, including reserving a location for the annual Captains’ Meeting.
- Use the size of the event and the amount of attendees to negotiate and secure arrangements for lodging accommodations, event shirts, and any other purchases that benefit from bulk purchasing power.
- Create and maintain a budget for total event expenses, which may include applying for funding from the Host University.
- Set the Event Entry Fee and collect from attending Member Teams.
- Ensure the safety of all visitors during the course of the Event.
- Create and announce schedule of the Event which includes: the Captains’ Meeting, League Picture, when and where Matches are played, when and where Officiating Staff are assigned, and other necessary event plans.
- Along with any present members of the Executive Board, declare the National Collegiate Dodgeball Champion team and present the Member Team with the Nationals Trophy.
