The language within 4.3.3.4.3 states that "The Official counts from One (1) to Fifteen (15), or from Fourteen (14) to Zero (0). The Official uses the Timepiece to internally count the fifteen, counting the seconds as they tick by."
In 4.3.3.4.6 it states that "- If the count reaches fifteen (15) and a Legitimate Attempt [3.3.4.3.1] has not been made, the Official whistles and signals a Shot Clock Violation."
I feel that "or from Fourteen (14) to Zero (0)." should be removed from 4.3.3.4.3 in order to match the language within 4.3.3.4.6 and also since most Shot Clock Officials already count from One (1) to Fifteen (15) any Shot Clock Official counting from Fourteen (14) to Zero (0) may confuse players, even though I have not heard anyone count like that.

I would rather change 4.3.3.4.6 to also represent the option for counting from 14 to 0 because I know some of the southern teams prefer the count down, rather than the count up.
A shot clock counter should start the half off asking the team whether they want to count from 1-15 or 14-0.
Propositions:
4.3.3.4.6 - "If the count reaches fifteen (15) or zero (0), depending on the Member Team's count preference [4.3.3.4.3], and a legitimate attempt [3.3.4.3.1] has not been made, the Official shall whistle and signal a Shot Clock Violation."
-OR-
4.3.3.4.6 - "If the Shot Clock count elapses fifteen (15) total seconds, and a legitimate attempt [3.3.4.3.1] has not been made, the Official shall whistle and signal a Shot Clock Violation."

Ahh, I guess I haven't played any teams that count towards zero, so I assumed. I agree that 4.3.3.4.6 would be a better change. Thanks for the input!
