Greetings fellow dodgeballers,
As a newly appointed officer it will take me a bit to get into the swing of things. But, DePaul would like to get a jump-start on the 2011-2012 season scheduling so we can make sure this year is just as badass, if not, more so than last year. Per usual DePaul is interested in playing mad dodgeball with anyone willing to work with us to organize events.
First and foremost, as Moody is our nearest neighbor, we should try and set up multiple matches this year. I am hoping for at least two before DePaul goes on break at the end of November.
Secondly, it would be really awesome if our friends at Kent State (or anyone, really) would be willing to host a tournament sometime in October. Let us know if this is feasible so we can apply for funding and other such trivialities.
Thirdly, here is a rough preliminary schedule for what DePaul hopes to accomplish this season. Of course, all dates are subject to change:
At least 3 Chicago events - January 14th: CDO (Chicago Dodgeball Open)
- May 5th: Hat Tournament - Anytime: Moody - DePaul matches
At least three travel trips - March 31st: Nationals - November 12th: MSU Invite - October 8th, 15th, or 22nd?: Kent State
Other Potentials - Kentucky Invite - WIU - UW-Platteville - BGSU
Let’s start discussing and organizing, and get the season off to a great start.
- Brian Weinert: V.P. #24

We can host but: Our only big event will be the CDO. We can host small one or two team matches. We can replace our dodgeball nights (see above), play anytime on most fridays, and start around 6pm or 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
We can't do anymore fall events, but most anything after New Years till St Patrick's day works. We apply for Winter Quarter trip funding on November 4th, so get your stuff in order by then.

Hey teams,
We are in the middle of defining our event schedule after new years. Our first opportunity to reserve space (therefore the best chances to receive space) is October 21. We can ask after but then we might have to fight with the other club sports for intercampus supremacy.
if you want to set anything up regarding a home game, please email us at depauldball@gmail or reply back on here.
We are also kind of looking at arranging a trip as a backup to the Kentucky invite, if they don't expand or we can't afford the 750mi journey.

we sent out an email to some semi-random semi-local teams. It calls for any trips to be scheduled by Nov 4th (our funding application date). Hit us up if you want DePaul

If you can make it, JMU is scheduling a tournament for Late-February. Either the weekend of the 18th or 25th.
