So Apparently the Atlantic decided to play some dodgeball this year. Got to say I love it! I'm Co Captain of Kent State Dodgeball (in NE Ohio) But I was raised near Rehoboth DE. So I'm sure you guys will work out some games yourself. But as the closest previously established school to the east coast Kent would love to host a tournament with new teams from the east Including but by no means limited to: James Madison, University of Maryland, Towson University, and Rochester Institute of Technology
I understand this would be a big and expensive commitment. So i would like to schedule it for Spring semester. If any schools interested could send me dates of what weekends Would Not work i.e. weekends around midterms spring break etc, we can start to get a better idea of when might be a good time. Also once we see how much interest there is in this tournament we can open it up to other teams throughout the Midwest to make sure you guys get the most out of this tournament. (I am 100% positive that teams out here will be very excited to play some new teams)

Lets call this the Non-Michigander Combine featuring EMU
If you make it anytime before March 12, DePaul will travel. Unless you wanted a separate Big East tournament in addition to our shenanigans, in which case that's totally cool too.

This sounds pretty good for us at JMU.
Our Spring Break is March 2-12, midterms are typically the week before and after Spring Break. I got to check with everyone to see what kind of commitment we can make, but to me it sounds awesome.

Maryland is definitely interested, but it would be a long/costly drive for us. So just keep us updated since we are not funded yet.

RIT, Kent, Anyone else out there--
We are looking for more teams for our JMU Tournament if you were looking to come down here. We already have Maryland and Kentucky coming, with a possible Towson, WKU, and WIU. Good mixture of teams if you guys wanted to do something before everyone's spring break.
