Call me crazy but I was having a conversation with some of UK's elite administration and Athletics Department explaining a little bit of what we are doing with Dodgeball. When the asked about all of our home games of the year/season I had to dance around a little.
One thing that I think is hindering us from really exploding onto the scene is our lack of a concrete schedule until a week or two before we play. So here is my crazy idea...how about we have a list of available home and away matches on a calendar with a sign up area next to them and we fill out our schedules then. (Also, list your tournaments)
From a marketing standpoint if you had a schedule you could probably spend a couple hundred dollars and get some posters made with schedules on them and begin a "brand" which I know a lot of schools have but not everyone has.
I have some more ideas about how to enforce this and other marketing ideas for the league. But, the thing that should come first is playing the games! What do you all think about this crazy idea?

I like the idea but for us at grand valley it is almost impossible. We have a 1 court that is used for almost everything so we can only end up getting a game or two a semester at home. also we arnt allowed to request for court space for the second semester until like our winter break....it is quite hindering

Basically what Mark said applies to us. Plus we have to schedule around home basketball events for any home matches, and those don't get announced until late August/early September usually. It's a great idea though!
