I thought we should start a thread for this tournament. Kent would love to make it and would like to get some more info on it. Do we know what teams are attending so far? Also, what time is gameplay expected to begin and end?

I thought UMD kinda of alright made a thread for this already on their UMD schedule. But then again, you make a good point. From what I know from them, it will be UMD, JMU, VCU, and Towson that are going. That is all I have.

Yes, JMU is definitely in attendance with good numbers. Maybe enough for a B-Team as well.

Sorry I didn't make a post for the tournament. Anyway right now the attending teams are JMU, VCU, Towson, and UMD. We have the whole gym with 3 courts reserved from 9am to 5pm on Oct 27th, but that time can likely be extended if needed. As for start time that can be whenever you guys want. We are setting a cap of 8 teams, although I don't think we'll reach it. So Kent is more than welcome to come.
I'm also working to try and get RIT, but I don't have a contact for them. Does anyone else have one for them? Also, I'm working to get Penn State to come as well.
My goal is to get every team to play at least 3-4 matches and when your team isn't competing you might have to ref. Also, feel free to bring a JV team if you want. Let me know if you need more info.

Chris, does PSU have a team for sure? I'll probably never get to play them but adding PSU would be huge for the league

First, no it is not in the Armory right now, but I am working to get it changed to the Armory so we can have more court space. Second, the latest we would probably start would be 11am, but if some teams want to get there earlier we can definitely have some play before that. Also, does anyone have RIT's Chad's email address? Third, yes PSU does have an official team, but this is their first semester and he told me they are likely not to start competitions until the Spring. Fourth, great UK. Keep me updated on your team's interest. This goes for Kent and RIT. If you need to contact us just email marylanddodgeball@gmail.com.

Chris, that sounds good. We will try to get there around 11 A.M. or earlier. RIT e-mail address is ritdbc@gmail.com. Chad T. Kohn is their captain. Can't wait. See you there.

Chris, just get me all the details on the day and I'll have a team there. We had 1500 people come out the other night so it shouldn't be a problem finding 15...it will probably get hard to find games pretty soon! haha

Alright. So I just got word that there is some class that got put in our gym's space from 8:30am to noon on 10/27. So I managed to get the Armory with all 4 courts reserved on 10/21 from 9am to 7pm (time can be extended). This was the only date I could get that didn't seem to interfer with anyone elses events. Please let me know if this is still ok with everyone else. If this isn't I can get the Armory on either 12/1 and 12/2 reserved all day. So let me know either here or by email which is better for you. me and my team are leaning towards the 10/21 date.
