since I think we're done with dodgeball for the semester,
1. WIU (5-1, 10 points) 2. WKU (5-2, 10 points) 3. MSU (4-2, 8 points) 4. UK (4-3, 8 points) 5. SVSU (3-1, 6 points) 6. CMU (2-0, 4 points) 7. BGSU (2-1, 4 points) 8. OSU (1-0, 2 points) 9. Kent St (1-1, 2 points) 10. UWP (1-2, 2 points) 11. EMU (1-4, 2 points) 12. GVSU (0-1, 0 points) 13. Miami of Ohio (0-1, 0 points) 14. Louisville (0-3, 0 points) 15. Depaul (0-6, 0 points)
makes the groups for nationals be:
WIU, OSU, Kent St, (empty) WKU, BGSU, UWP, Depaul MSU, CMU, EMU, Louisville UK, SVSU, GVSU, Miami (OH)

I have been talking to the team from Towson University in Maryland and they are really interested in coming to WKU for the National Tournament, so hopefully we can fill that (empty) spot with either them or Northwestern State University in Louisiana.

What about the Nebraska team Felix? Or possibly the Kansas State team if they decided to switch over to our league and rules.

To be honest I forgot about the Nebraska team, and Kansas too since they have been inactive. We'll be following the bidding rubric that Bomis, Raymer, and myself came up with over the summer.
Priority bidding starts March 14, 2011 for the following teams: 2011 Host Team: WKU Final Four from 2010 National Tournament: GVSU, CMU, MSU, OSU 2011 Regular Season Champions: Will be decided based on points system on March 1, 2011 2011 Michigan Dodgeball Champions: TBD 2011 Ohio Dodgeball Champions: TBD 2011 Kentucky Dodgeball Champions: WKU
"Open Entry" starts March 28, 2011- From there it becomes a first come, first serve until 16 teams have registered.

it would be absolutely crazy if the top 4 teams in the nation all ended up in 2 pools... the rest of the pools would be a cakewalk(no offense)

Chris, we gotta use proper nomenclature.
it would be absolutely crazy if the top BEST 4 teams in the nation all ended up in 2 pools... the rest of the pools would be a cakewalk(no offense)
The TOP 4 are WIU, WKU, MSU, and UK.

we at NSU want to send a team... please don't count us out... (do jerseys have to have numbers on the front?)

We definitely haven't counted NSU out! We're really hoping you all can make it. But yes, you do have to have numbers on front and back of the jerseys to make things easier for the refs (since they see the front of your jersey and rarely the back). I know our sporting goods store in Bowling Green does that kind of thing for like 50 cents a jersey, so it's not costly at all.
