and we actually took our team pic today but we don't have the numbers on the front... we'll work on getting them there, and will we have to take a whole new picture?

Going off what Felix said above:
Priority bidding starts March 14, 2011 for the following teams: 2011 Host Team: WKU Final Four from 2010 National Tournament: GVSU, CMU, MSU, OSU 2011 Regular Season Champions: Will be decided based on points system on March 1, 2011 2011 Michigan Dodgeball Champions: TBD 2011 Ohio Dodgeball Champions: TBD 2011 Kentucky Dodgeball Champions: WKU
Since your team doesn't fall into any of those categories, you're registration period will start March 28 and is first come, first serve. Felix is basically going off of which team's checks get to him first. If you're the 17th team to get him a check, he'll tear it up and you won't be charged, sadly because you'll have just missed out.

I don't understand how we may not have a chance to get into nationals. NSU is in Louisiana and we don't have to funds to make it into all the competitions up north so why should we be punished for that? I think every team should have the right to play if they have a legit team and pay...

The main problem is everyone wants to play in the National Tournament, whether it's the fifteen teams who have played a game this season or the five who have not, but would still like to participate. We have to cap it out at 16 because of time constraints. It's the only way to do it, I've looked at the possibility of a 18 or 20 team tournament, and the scheduling is a nightmare, not to mention how little time we have to play. There just literally isn't enough time in the day.
For the open registration period, it'll be first-come first-serve until we get to sixteen. I will be going off of post-mark dates, not the dates they arrive, this way if UofL and NSU send their check off at the same exact time I will know that rather than just giving it to UofL who's check would arrive earlier since they are only two hours away.
You guys know I love the Northwestern squad, I just can't guarantee you'll have a spot. As long as you are one of the first 16 teams to give me your check, then you're fine. I can't play favorites unfortunately, there's no way I can save a spot for NSU because they're NSU or for Ohio State because they're Ohio State. I'm sorry it has to go down like this, but it is the only fair way.

With those standings i don't want to sound arrogant or anything, but EMU could actually come out on top in that particular bracket. I'm just saying...

I thought the national brackets had a weird setup to prevent teams from playing the same team on sat and sunday

thats just hypothetical brackets correct (if those were the teams that got their stuff in first thats how it would be correct)?

right, those are just the 16 teams that have played so far this year. so hypothetically if they were the first 16 teams to get there stuff in then this would be the bracket. not saying that you, or nebraska, or any other team who hasn't played a game won't get in, this is just a hypothetical bracket.
