I'd just like to share a clip of one of the most feared dodgeball players of all time. Some of you might know him as the big guy from GVSU that threw ridiculously hard and hit everyone in the face. We called him Big Country, Brocket Launcher, or just Brock. www.youtube.com/watch?v=08FNPHHpHoYI want you guys to find epic clips from your dodgeball stashes and post them up because these clips are epic. So is the headshot at 1:40. This was MDC of 2007, my freshman year. It will forever be the coolest and best run MDC ever. Bomis if you have the entire video of all the games you should really get those to Jardine or Raymer so they can post what dodgeball used to be like so people can see just how HORRIBLE we used to be. www.fanpop.com/spots/dodgeball/videos/42766/title/ncda-national-college-dodgeball-association-highlights

I just love the reaction of the kid that was being thrown at. He was just like "Oh. My. God. That could have been my face..."

Wowwww that is some slow dodgeball no offense......granted I am only seeing the JV teams. i wasnt around when these games were being played but from watching them i can see just how much this sport has grown. hardly anyone in the GVSU and MSU game threw grippy (if anyone at all) and theres not really alot of counter attacks, the games looks ALOT simplier, but in all reallity i also think it doesnt look as much fun. granted this is a play ground sprot, and i hear alot of people use the phrase "this is just dodgeball" or "this is a kids game" the way i look at it is that yeah its dodgeball, but its not about the games history. so what if our game was invented on play grounds and was taken as a joke. who cares if people think were lame for playing it. look back at every pro sport today, they all started the way this one is. people playing to play. sports evolve as competion grows. some of the teams or players in the leauge may look at it as just a game, but for some of us its more then that. i love dodgeball, and in all reality im not ashamed to say that. the game is amazing. i have played every other sport on some level (mostly highscool) and nothing comes close to this "school yard" game. the fact that some will say that we cant make this into something bigger kinda makes me sad. because we can, its all about finding people who want to make this more. just look at how much we have grown in 4 years. sorry to rant, but i just see the games of the old days and see how we play now and its so different. this sport is evolving and i personally think that it can become something big one day. i just hope im still around to see and experience it. also 5 more posts spencer till you obtain god status, is that party still on for it haha

I think it's pretty cool looking at games that were played around the inception time of the NCDA and I think it's important for the history of the league. That way teams that started years after the inception of the NCDA are able to see what it was like at day one. And I like looking at the progression in skill of the players.
