I would like to give a huge thanks out to DePaul for hosting the CDO this past weekend. The tournament was a big success in my opinion and I know it was fun for my guys. We appreciated the fact that refs were already appointed duties, they used former players and I.M. refs, which really made this weekend less about arguing calls and more about playing actual dodgeball. A few things I took from this weekend were:
DePaul- Still the most active and fun team to play. They are truly there for the love of playing dodgeball and wouldnt have it any other way. Moody- This new team is not bad. They have a few good throwers and with a little hard work and practice they can be a good team. Good jobs guys. WIU- Missing a few of their players but still played good. They played to their stategy and we enjoyed playing them for the first time. MSU- What can I say other than we play you guys 5-6 times a year. We all know how good our games always are and I like to think we have the biggest rivalry so far this year in the NCDA. I know both our team and your team were also missing some key guys. Great job guys.
CMU's scores from the weekend were as follows (I believe): WIU-1 CMU-6 DePaul-0 CMU-5 Moody-0 CMU-7 MSU-1 CMU-2

Yea this tournament was definitely a lot of fun for WIU, and we don't feel too bad about our finish with the team we brought.
CMU and MSU both showed their superiority over everyone else, and their discipline and team chemistry definitely showed. Moody was definitely a solid team and every game was competitive.
Depaul played a great game in our final matchup of the day and almost pulled out their first victory. Things got a little heated after a long day of dodgeball, but hopefully everything that was said is put behind us...
Overall, we're looking forward to seeing these teams again and thank Depaul for hosting their second quality event of the year.
I believe these were our scores: CMU - 6 WIU - 1 MSU - 5 WIU - 1 WIU - 6 Moody - 0 WIU - 3 Depaul - 2

This was a great way to play are first games in the NCDA, we gained alot of experience at got to play four games.
MSU: Not going to lie, going into the game we were just pretty exicted that we would be playing against big time schools considering we are a small bible college. Very fast pace with some great throwers and very smart playing. MSU 8- MBI 0
Depaul: Our most fun game by far! Especially because we have been playing with you guys as of late. All 6 points were very competitive and you guys made some stellar catches to regain momentum and take the game. Im glad you are finally on the board with a W. We will see you soon Depaul 4- MBI 2
WIU: The must teach you guys how to survive over there on the Western side of Illinois, because at least 3 of the points we were up 4 men to 1 and you caught balls and stopped us every time! Hats off to you guys. Things got a little weird in one game, but no hard feelings. It was a great time and very competitive every single game. WIU 5-MBI 0
CMU: I am pretty sure Central Michigan either a.) breeds 6'3 dudes with cannons or b.) breeds dudes with super glue on their hands. Our top throwers were even getting caught like it was nothing. Great Job. You guys are definitely talented. CMU 7-MBI 0
