Hey all fellow dodge ballers. So I was going to have a meeting with our team about our recap of this year. I was just wondering if you could provide me with some feedback of how you thought our team was, maybe some strengths and weaknesses and just our overall demeanor as a team. This would be awesome and very beneficial. Even if you haven't played us and just watched us that would be awesome.

You guys had some very good arms from my perspective. What you need to work on is countering. When the opposing team is winding up to throw you need to start charging toward them. This will either cause them to hesitate or not throw at all. If they do throw you have a great oppertunity to then get them out because they are back pedaling while you are running full speed toward them or they turn around and put their back toward you. Other than that you guys looked really sound.
Oh, and on team catches you get a player back in.... hahahahahaha

Yeah Moody, y'all looked a lot better than I had expected from what our team (MSU) said of playing you before. It seemed like you had the arms to play some good dodgeball, you just needed more strategy. Don't get discouraged because it looked like you have the potential to be very good in not-too-long.

Chad, you probably already know how much DePaul loves playing and hanging with you guys. It really feels good to have a group like you guys so close for us to play. We're doing the Chicago chants a lot more next time.
and since we 'taught' Moody our brand of dodgeball, team catches in DePaul rules are no one out/no one in... just DePaul causing trouble as usual.

Zigmas, it was hilarious. I was sitting there watching the moody guys play and they get a team catch and the next guy in for Moody just sat there. I was like "Dude, are you doing to go in?" and he says "No, it was a team catch." I was like "Ummmmm?" hahahahaha

Chad you guys are always very fun to play, and you are extremely competitive for a first year team. We personally love playing you guys. Some of your players have some good arms too, but like Mike and Will said you just need to work on your strategy a bit. But don't change your personalities, you guys are a lot of fun to play right now!

I think there were a lot of teams this weekend that had unreal talent. The biggest thing that schools lack is team play and court awareness. Moody, in particular, had great talent, but tiny things that help win games were missing. First, a lot of schools didn't push up to get balls in the neutral zone and even if they did push up, they threw and didn't pick up the balls in the neutral zone. Second, when guys were on the clock, they didn't take two balls with them to make a throw. If you have two balls, you bring both, throw one, and protect yourself with the other. A lot of guys were throwing and then running away with no protection to try and find another ball. Third, when you get out, give the ball you are holding to your teammate. It was terrible to see people get out and then just drop the ball for the other team to get. Fourth, block for your teammates, not just yourself. Lastly, don't throw all of your balls. Have some control as a team and talk to each other about who is throwing/where you are throwing if you need to throw.
I want to point out that this is not all directed to Moody. This was just what I noticed about the league in general. However, these are easy fixes that would make the whole league better.
