Yeah as the subject states i was lloking on where to get the really good dodgeballs. not the ones where you like tear the crap outa your fingertips. The ones we had a bgsu were blue and red. they dont have the little grip patterns on them and i know they are a little bit more expensive but i think they are totally worth it. thanks

The front page has a link to the ones SVSU uses, and they are pretty good.

The big thing about getting good balls is wearing them in. Most balls we get start out crappy but after a few practices they wear off their outer layer of film and are ready to go. I've heard that sticking balls through a cycle of a dishwasher helps make them better too but I haven't tried it out yet.

That's true Dylan. We got forty new balls the day before Nationals in 2009, washed them in the dishwasher, then sanded them a bit, and they were game ready.

At CMU, we take our new dodgeballs and sand them a little bit then take them into a raquetball room and kick and throw them until they loose the first layer of film. As soon as you break them in and wear them down, you should be ready to go. Usually after 3-4 practices the balls are good. Btw we tried the dishwasher thing a few times and didnt notice much of a difference.
