The thread title was just to get everyone's attention. I still prefer the NCDA.
But the National Dodgeball League is actually really awesome as well. I attended the NDL Dodgeball World Championships this weekend in Las Vegas and it was a top-notch dodgeball experience.
There is no gorilla grip, I know, I was disappointed too. And there were some other rules that were strange to me, such as the small court size. But none of this kept the DWC from being a great weekend with many great dodgeball players from all over the country and world. And I actually liked some of the rules differences. The small court sizes made the games much more fast paced.
I highly recommend the NDL for anyone looking to further their dodgeball career post-college (or even during college) and play against high quality players.

Punishing players for performing the most exciting moment in a dodgeball game, a headshot, is ridiculous. Its like calling MLB players out for hitting a home run.

Yeah, I think they are going to stop the NFL players from tackling each other. That will be so much fun to watch!!! hahaha

FYI- The NDL Pro League does allow headshots now, it's only the amateur divisions that don't. Oh, and McCarthy, you fell off the slippery slope again
