1. Kentucky (1-0) 2 points 2. Louisville (0-1) 0 points
I'll try to keep this as updated as possible throughout the year, unless Zig puts it on the main website in which case that'd probably be even better.

I have created a gdoc for the 2012 records. I'll probably either link to this from the website or put up a truncated version Hiller, if you want I can add your google account so you can edit and submit new results and such.

We, as in Miami (OH) and Ohio State, played a scrimmage match. Ended up tied, 2-2.

i updated the google docs, only I sort the last 6 differently. I'd rather reward matches played rather than losses tallied

So Zigmas your saying a team that goes 10-10 should be ranked higher than a team that goes 10-0??

hells ya. 20 matches? that's a feat worth recognizing when a team is not forced to play a minimum amount of matches (besides one official NCDA match to be a member-team). A team is traveling, many times off their own dollar, to play another school. It's a miracle we even have teams in Louisiana.
Also, i just noticed i also rank them by thus: "Ranking": Points / WL% / Total Matches / Alpha
A 10-0 would be 'ranked' higher than 10-10 under this system. So kind of renders my first paragraph moot.
On another tangent, if there is a seeding thing that actually gets to alphabetical category, for instance if you were designing seeds, the alpha'd should be sorted randomly or the team that traveled the farthest gets the higher better seed. - That sounds very complicated but honestly i'm too tired to rewrite it right now.

1. Kent State (7-3) 14 points 2. Michigan State (5-1) 10 points 3. Grand Valley State (4-0) 8 points 4. Saginaw Valley State (4-2) 8 points 5. Kentucky (3-0) 6 points 6. James Madison (2-1) 4 points 7. Ohio State (2-2) 4 points T8. Moody Bible (1-0) 2 points T8. Western Illinois (1-0) 2 points 10. Western Kentucky (1-1) 2 points 11. Maryland (1-2) 2 points 12. Depaul (1-4) 2 points 13. Bowling Green (0-5) 0 points 14. Eastern Michigan (0-4) 0 points 15. Towson (0-3) 0 points 16. Louisville (0-2) 0 points T17. Miami (0-1) 0 points T17. Wisconsin-Platteville (0-1) 0 points
-Towson will be added when I find out what their record was from this weekend/who they beat. I also need to know what games that Kent State won (I'm assuming they didn't play Maryland's JV team in these standings), James Madison gets 2 wins from the weekend (unfortunately guys playing the Maryland JV team doesn't count for a win in the standings), Maryland I'm also assuming did not play their own JV team. -Switched the bottom teams to Zigmas' rankings of teams (matches played as tiebreak) -Congrats to Kent State who is now the #1 team in the country! -As far as I'm aware the only matches this coming weekend (lemme know if wrong) is CMU-SVSU, so CMU can begin to try and catch up and regain that #1 spot, or SVSU can move into a tie for 2nd. -By the end of the first half of last season, only 15 teams had played a match. We've still got a month to go and we've had three more teams play matches at this point, with some established teams (CMU, Northwestern State, Kansas State, Nebraska, and LCC) haven't had a match yet! -Also at the end of the first half of last year WIU was in first with 10 points, Kent State is already 4 points ahead of that mark. WKU and UK had each played 7 games at the end of the first half of last year, and this year Kent State has already played 10! games. Very cool for the league I think. -If any of this is wrong lemme know so I can fix it.
***Towson just added

Kent vs JMU 4-2 Kent Kent vs Towson 6-1 or 7-1 not sure, Kent Kent vs Maryland 5-2 Kent
Another interesting thing to note. Kent lost the 1st game against each of these new teams, I'll give a quick write up about the UMD invite later this week (unless someone beats me to it), since i'm sure most teams are curious about our new east coast teams.
I also know: Maryland vs Towson 13-0 Maryland JMU vs Maryland 6-5 (this was an amazing game!) I believe Towson's record was 1-2, with a win against UMD JV. But I'm 100% sure on that.
Kent State 1st in the Nation. . . I love it!
