www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3UGq1zxgasWatch the first 10 seconds and tell me number 13 bottom of the screen. Tell me he doesn't feel that ball drill him. Again it happens in the second point when I hit him and he didn't go out. I mean I wasn't even looking for GVSU cheating. I just wanted to check it out and learn from the video, but this is so blatant that it needs to be shown. Almost as bad as when I got tripped by the GVSU player and was censored on this site. P.S this is right in front of the main ref who happened to be a former GV player.... What do you guys think?

Wait... Stein... So your telling us that you... 1) Threw a ball? and 2) Actually got someone out?
NO WAY! I don't believe it. hahahahahha JK bud.
As a side note Stein, it looks like the ball hits the ball he is holding... bad camera angle but I'm just letting you know it could go either way from this vantage point.

It hits him in the back haha Dude it is clear. No chance he isn't out. NO WAY. This is as blatant as it gets.
on a side not. My anger was for a legit reason, but I am sorry for my vulgarness. I should keep the swearing down. I will work on that in the future.

I have watched it over and over Mccarthy. No way he is in. It is blatant and in the second point he does the same thing. I didn't get hit in the first point and I at least went out when they called me out. Brutal. I still think you can even tell by the way the ball bounces more up in the air than it would if he hit me in the air you can tell it rolled. Hard to put it into words, as that didn't make a lot of sense but the trajectory of the ball would've been different if it hit my leg in the air for sure.

I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just telling you what it looks like from the video. You were there, for those of us who weren't there it looks like it could go both ways. The way he raises the ball makes it look as though he had blocked it.

Point completely unrelated to the thread but seeing the video I wanted to make it anyway:
Manned camera: YAY! Now just buy yourselves a tripod

It's extremely hard to tell from this angle, but it looks like it hit the ball as he's picking it up to me. The sound it makes when it hits him/the ball sounds like a ball hitting a ball not a ball hitting a person in my opinion... Still, very hard to tell from that angle for sure lol

he has barely even touched a ball yet if u watch it in slow motion... no way it hits the ball. Also go to Point 1 2/3 at like 30 seconds and watch me get out in the middle. Look at the trajectory of the ball. if it hit my leg on the fly it wouldve been a flatter angle coming off my leg. If it hit the front it wouldve bounced the other way. I also heard it hit ground while I was diving.
ether way ridiculously hard to make that call in a big situation in a big point while we are leading the point. ( I think we were leading at this point in the game.) Way to big of a call to make from center court when its not obvious.

DePaul's tripod broke. We taped about 2.5-3 games at MSU and with some handheld tripod action going on... felt great getting that footage

I have to say it looks like it hits ball but I could see it going the other way hitting him, but the problem is the ref is in the way. Either way it could of been either an A.) bad call or B.) the right call, but I mean no reason crying over spilt milk you know what I mean? Especially because it is such a hard call to make given the camera angle of the video.

Why exactly does this make you so angry? I know it is frustrating when you hit someone and they don't go out, but it is a part of the game. If a ref misses a hit and the player wants to cheat, yelling at the ref and complaining on a forum probably isn't going to get you far. (although in this video there is not, as the NFL would put it, indisputable evidence that it didn't hit the ball he is holding)
Instead of complaining, why don't you try just focusing on playing the game and getting better individually? Do you really think you help anybody with all of your negative comments and constant complaining? Just my 2 cents.
