While looking through the rulebook this set of rules was confusing....
3.1.1.1 Airborne Balls - All Balls immediately become dead, unless a Ball was airborne before the whistle was blown. 3.1.1.1.1 If a Direct Throw was airborne before the whistle was blown, no Direct Catches or Direct Hits may be made with said Direct Throw.
So the first rule says that all balls are dead unless airborne, but the second says nothing happens if airborne ball hits someone?
I think the rule should either say "All balls are immediately dead on whistle." - No exceptions
Or
Keep 3.1.1.1 how it is and change 3.1.1.1.1 to "Any airborne ball thrown before the whistle is live and can eliminate players"

Yeah those rules are completely contradictory. It's one or the other. From my understanding it was if a ball is airborne before the whistle is blown then the ball is live and can still eliminate someone by hit or catch.
