All,
The NCDA's Officiating App is on its way to fruition. I've created a repository using GitHub to keep track of the project's related files (source code, project files, documentation, etc.). The link to the repository is reported below. I set up the initial project just to get the ball rolling; the current source code is, in my opinion, mostly invalid. I will be making several modifications to the beginning code documents in order to set up a better design for the future.
The repository is set up into a File System hierarchy. The root folder, "N-DROPP", will hold all project-related files.
In the repository are 2 main documents: "Product Concept & UX Design" and "N-DROPP Source Design". The first document is a complete GUI/UX design document created by myself and some colleagues from school last semester (FALL 2013). This document describes the purpose of the application and also presents several design aspects from the user's perspective. The second document, "N-DROPP Source Design", is meant to document how the application is structured and written in code. Although it pretty much contains nothing right now, I hope to include several project conventions I'd like to follow as well as detailed design structure of the application as a whole.
The subdirectory "N-DROPP/N-DROPP" is the root folder of the application itself, as the Eclipse IDE views it. This is where all of the source code and project resources reside.
The git repository will reside here:
github.com/kpninja12/N-DROPP
The repository is public so anyone should be able to view it. If you are a developer and want developer access to the repository, contact me and I'll try to get you set up. I'm new to Git so I'm working things out as I go.
