Hello, my name is Tim Wells, and I am the vice president of the RIT Dodgeball club. I am a little new to this process, and I was wondering how would I go about hosting a tournament at RIT? As in who do I clear it with in NCDA to proceed with arranging that? I hosted an Elite Dodgeball National tournament at RIT last February, and am trying to renew interest in NCDA here. Is the schedule for this season locked, or can new tournaments be added? I see there is not much going on in early 2015, which would be when I would plan a tournament. Also, if there are any teams interested in attending, a rough estimate would be appreciated so I could plan for such. My hope is that RIT is central enough to get teams from the surrounding states to participate.
Thanks guys,
Tim Wells

Tim and I just talked a little bit, but thought i'd answer the questions again in case anyone else could use it!
Hosting an NCDA Event - There aren't any special restrictions, if you want to host an NCDA event, you just have to get member teams to visit and play under the NCDA rulebook. If everyone meets eligibility to play under that ruleset, the matches count normally in the standings.
Scheduling - All our scheduling is adhoc. It is much to difficult to arrange anything concrete with all the different university facility schedules and the restrictions involved. Some schools can't apply for space until start of the current semester. Others have even tougher travel restrictions.
