Well if you end up getting a team at Wayne State, let me know, EMU is relatively close and it would easy to get a team to drive down there or you guys come up here.

I know I am digging up an old post...but does anyone have any news on new teams wanting to join? Also any schools that we should contact?

The possibility of more Kentucky teams seems like a good one. UK has contacts with EKU and possibly NKU and/or The University of the Cumberlands. I'm all for expanding dodgeball to as many schools as we can.

lol if you can call games between MI teams "friendly". They get pretty damn intense.

The areas for expansion should be built around pre-existing teams. ones within 30 minutes to an hour would be amazing as we could drive down and scrimmage them while the team is still building. No official match as they would be brand spankin new, but it would allow them to feel a part of the league.

Not that it matters but ive been talking to many of my friends that attend Lansing Community College, and they are very serious about starting their own team too. I dont know if Ian has heard anything about that but its just what ive been hearing lately.

Pat do you want me to try to talk to some of the kids from LCC that go to our practices? I'm sure they'd love to get a LCC team together

I also found a list of a bunch of schools that play NADA rules and was thinking maybe some of them might want to flip to our league. There are teams from all over, even teams in states where there are already a bunch of teams. www.dodgeballusa.com/collegmembers.phpMaybe someone knows people who go there or what not but we should try talking to these teams.
