ok so i got bored one day and decided to look up schools that had dodgeball clubs...i also remembered that there were a few possible teams at the beginning of this season that got off of our radar. so anyways here they are:
New: University of Tennessee, Oregon State, University of Miami (FL)
Need to Revisit: Georgia Tech, Michigan Tech, Virginia Military, University of Cincinnati
Also these teams need some closer opponents: University of Nebraska (Lincoln, Omaha), University of Oklahoma, Northwestern State (LA)
basically all of this means we have a lot of expansion and this summer should be trying to get something established in these schools...i'm thinking media packages in the schools club sport office, ads around prospective campuses, etc. let me know your guy's ideas...just to let you guys know i'll be in Florida from may until January and will try to get a good number of teams in the miami/orlando area.
what are your guys' ideas? (sorry if i'm stepping on your toes Felix, it's all out of love =P)

I heard about Western Michigan having a very competitive IM dodgeball league and know that they are trying to set up a club team

lol although that's awesome i'm not worried about michigan teams especially with ferris state possibly getting it's feet on the ground this coming season...that will be at least 7 MI teams wow.

Well it's not like college kids in MI could make effective use of their time finding work, so this is the next best thing.

haha it's cool Alexis, I'm completely fine with it, I could use some help every once in a while.
For NSU's in-state competition, I have a contact at Louisiana State University helping him to get a team started for next season.
I'm going to try to get ahold of the girl from Oklahoma Christian University that I was talking to about a possible new team for OU to play.
Kansas State was also interested at one point in joining, that would be relatively close to Nebraska, I mean it's still a good long drive but it'll be just about as close as WIU to them.
Does anyone have the contact information for University of Tennessee? I had no idea about them, we're close enough to them to help them out.
Oregon State could play Washington State University who had emailed me and shown a little interest, along with some community college in southern Washington.
For Miami (FL) I have a friend at Sante Fe College in Gainsville, Florida who wanted to possibly start a team, it'd be about a 5 hour drive but it's something to work with.

The UT team is defunct according to the club sport website but you know how things are slow to be updated with school sites...my cousin is about to go there next fall plus I can give their club sports office a call and see if there is still a team...but at least there used to be interest lol I also remember Austin Peay mentioning something at one point...if we could get UT and Austin that would be awesome. As far as Florida goes I can work on that for you if you want...i'll be there for almost 8 months so I can get to a lot of places.

Looks like University of Akron, might be trying to get a team together. I'm also still trying to talk University of Delaware into making a team. To try to bring the NCDA east. I'll probably try Penn State (again) next semester.

any sport competition between UT and BG is called that, most predominately in football obviously...but it would be a really awesome battle and set-up an intense rivalry...we hate each other -_-

i'm hoping to start/help start a team at cincy next year (i'll be there for law school). i'm not sure how it's going to go because their academic programs and schedules aren't super conducive for team activities
