This will be my fifth year playing, I'm getting to be an old man too... but I think Murph was playing on the old school delta team, pre shot clock rule. They'd literally horde 8 balls and just wait for the 2 to come their way. Didn't matter how long it took, they'd get all 10 balls. Good times lol

Hey everyone, been a busy semester but Miami will be back and kickin stronger than ever this year! However I am highly intrigued with the thought of moving this league into a professional sport. I understand we must grow on the collegiate level, but I do believe we can think for the future with professional layouts now. This will need to move from a group of college guys, to those almighty celebrity sport stars that we love to see on TV. Almost finishing up business stuff here at Miami and getting ready for the real world. With my retirement of coaching Miami University Club Dodgeball for past four years, I would like to continue my support and efforts in helping the NCDA grow. If anyone is interested in actually meeting up to talk about this and wants to set up a start-up expansion focus group, feel free to e-mail at boydte@muohio.edu. Thanks and happy to see where this association has taken us so far.

I think we need to talk to the pro league that plays by the NADA rules and try to get them to switch to our rules and such. I mean, they aren't huge when it comes to followers, but if they changed over I think it could grow even more.

The pro league is a complete joke...first of all they play with 4 people to a team now 3 balls in play each team starts with a ball and then there is one ball in the middle. Other weird rules include: being able to suicide and go back to your side if you hit someone (you're out if you don't hit them), and if you block the ball isn't dead until it hits the ground so you could potentially get your own players out. Because of that I think starting our own pro league would not only be easier but much more marketable to people like Spike TV.
