Jordan in fact was enrolled in our school and never once played a game for CMU last year. You can say names. We are an open book here at SVSU.

But he did attend CMU first semester if i am not mistaken. And he played for SVSU in a game first semester against CMU. I do believe that if he transfered to SVSU, then it would be for second semester, not first therefore he would only be eligible to play for SVSU in the 2nd semester and for CMU in the first semester

oh, and yes Mccarthy did attend CMU last year. He transfered to Macomb this year i believe. He still comes up to CMU quite a bit and practices with us about once a week.

First off Stein, go read the post your talking about. At no point did I say I was playing. All I said is "I'M STILL HERE!" Never once did I say I was playing or attend CMU. Yet again your facts are wrong.
Regardless of anything that is being said this needs to be stopped. I have always got along with everyone in this league and I am sick of my name getting bashed back and forth. Stein, you "caught me" even though CMU and myself did nothing wrong whatsoever. So how about we stop this crap and play some dodgeball like Jordan said.

I just wanted clarification haha I didn't care about it being a big deal. We are still playing CMU and will still hold our own vs anyone on the court this year.

Ok, so that is that. This doesn't need to go any farther from ANYONE ON ANY TEAM. Thank god this is over.

You guys are so ridiculous.. Mccarty one last thing I asked if you attended the school clearly I wanted to kno if you were playing. Why else would I care what school you go to( which you still lied about haha) The question clearly implied do you go to CMU still and are you still playing.

so...do i still sound stupid with wanting class schedules? i knew about stein's accusations from the beginning but chose to make this a league wide thing, which i still think is something that should be responded too.
mike: i think the reason stein is so upset about this is because no one is sure that you wouldnt have tried to play had no one known your current academic situation. i know that you and most of the guys on my team(myself included) have mostly had a good relationship with you.
this is now TWO instances of where a college ID wouldnt be vaild. Mike probably still has his college ID and im sure no one would have thought twice about seeing him on the court had there not been rumors going on. We also had the bowling green alums playing in the saturday games of our national championship. clearly this system has flaws. im not saying that providing schedules doesnt have its own flaws, but it has fewer.

Stein, I know what you wanted. That's why I worded it like I did back when I said it a month ago. I'm still here... but yeah, not playing.
Chris I totally understand what you are talking about and I actually wasn't going to play. God knows I wanted to because dodgeball has been the best thing in my life for the last 3 years. (not including the gf haha)
P.S. According to the forum, I'm a God? Cool huh? lmao

Does every team have to follow their own school's club sports rules? Because for UK there are very specific rules outlining eligibility and all that garbage. I'm just curious if it holds same for all other schools.

Does every team have to follow their own school's club sports rules? Because for UK there are very specific rules outlining eligibility and all that garbage. I'm just curious if it holds same for all other schools. For our regular dodgeball nights, it has to be about 60% DePaul undergraduates, part time or full time. Anyone else can include random gym members, faculty, staff, and graduate program students. In order to travel, we have to submit a roster of who's traveling... eligibility is probably pretty similar to UK

Is it wrong of me to ask those of you who desire to start sh it on the board to at least take a class on rhetoric or debate? I just read through everything I've missed over the past week and my head hurts; people going back on what they said, saving face by bringing the discussion elsewhere.. etc. What I posted before still stands... if there's an issue, get to it professionally and with respect. Once that's over with, leave it alone. What this whole discussion is creating is bad blood between teams that already have bad blood between them for... take a wild guess... over reliance on competition and inflated egos. Seriously guys, let this discussion be dropped and bring it up in person. And please make a better effort to respect each others space.

Jack, you missed a thread that I asked for Raymer (or Bomis) to delete. There was even less tact in that thread.
